This is a plain-language draft prepared for review. It describes how the platform actually works today, but it has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and may change.
1. What AIMaks is
AIMaks is an online learning platform for applied AI: courses, lessons, quizzes, and interactive playgrounds. These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of AIMaks ("we"/"us"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them.
2. Your account
You need an account to save progress and read most lessons. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. You must provide a working email address. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion removes your profile and progress data.
3. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break authentication, scrape other users' data, disrupt the platform, or use the in-browser code runner to attack third parties. Community posts must not contain unlawful, harassing, or infringing content — we may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Course content and your work
Lessons, courses, animations, and other platform content are ours or our licensors' and are provided for your personal learning. You keep ownership of code and text you write in exercises and community posts, and you grant us the licence needed to store and display them as part of the service.
5. Free tier and changes
Parts of the catalog are free; access tiers may change as the platform evolves. We may modify or discontinue features, and we will make reasonable efforts to announce material changes in advance.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. Educational content may contain errors — verify before relying on it in production systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim (currently zero for free accounts).
